Camping Jobel,
on the border of the Landes

Located in the city of Tarnos, in the South-West of France, Camping Jobel offers an ideal environment for family vacations. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to enjoy the most beautiful landscapes of the South West. Indeed, the Basque Country and its iconic cities such as Bayonne, Biarritz, Hendaye and Saint-Jean-de-Luz are accessible within 40 minutes from the campsite.

You will also be able to take full advantage of the Atlantic coast with its famous beaches such as Hossegor, Port d’Albret in Soustons, the Huchet currents in Moliets-et-Mâa or the Regional Natural Park of the Landes which will offer you a great number of cultural and sports activities in the heart of its immense forest.

These landscapes are accessible by car, but you will also be able to explore the flourishing nature by bike thanks to the huge cycling network of the Landes and the Basque Country and the famous Vélodyssée accessible in 2 minutes from the Jobel campsite which connects the Bassin d’Arcachon to the Basque coast.

Our pitches

Camping Jobel is a 3 star open air hotel. It has 70 pitches of an average of 85m² each. Thirty-five pitches are dedicated to campers and camping cars, and thirty-five more to the rental of mobile homes, chalets and unusual accommodation. All our pitches are shaded, thus guaranteeing a cool environment in the middle of the summer season. Activities and services of your campsite

If there is no shortage of activities outside the establishment, Camping Jobel also has facilities to help you have a pleasant stay. The barbecue area will allow you to share moments of conviviality. The campsite also has a swimming pool, a paddling pool for the little ones and a playground for children as well as a petanque field. You can also stay in shape with our orienteering race. In addition to these activities, we offer the usual services such as grocery store, sanitary facilities with individual showers, a washing machine and a dryer. You will be able to immortalize and share your best moments thanks to the free WIFI available on the campsite.

Activities for the whole family

The Landes and the Basque Country are full of activities for young and old. Water lovers will be delighted, several water parks including Atlantic Park, Aquatic Landes, the Base de Pop, Aquazone Wipeout are near the Jobel campsite. During their stay thrill seekers will enjoy activities such as rafting, flyboarding or surfing. Your vacation will also give you an shortage opportunity to relax in the thermal spas of the city of Dax, 30 minutes from Tarnos.

Other activities will enhance your stay. There is no lack of animal parks in the region, you can visit the aquariums of Biarritz or San Sebastian if you decide to go to Spain. Closer to the campsite, the Zoo of Labenne and in the immediate vicinity, can be added to your program as well as a few laps on the go-kart track in Capbreton or Briscous.

From the campsite, you are just a few steps away from the Vélodyssée which crosses the Landes and the Basque Country. You can cycle to the towns of Bayonne, Saint Jean-de-Luz, Capbreton/Hossegor and even reach the Spanish border for the more adventurous.
